Astral Candle Legal Matters Beeswax Candle

Welcome to Lailokens Awen. This listing is for my Legal Matters Beeswax Spell Candle. The candle stands at 4 1/4" tall and is wider than your standard taper with a width of 1 1/4". The Candle is made with beeswax and anointed with 100% organic essential oils. The candle has an approximate burn time of four hours.


I hand make and roll all my candles, starting out with large sheets of real beeswax. These as well as the wicks I cut to size. Then I anoint the beeswax with the appropriate anointing oil. Once they are ready, I gently heat the wax which allows me to roll the beeswax around the wick. I heat again, and roll the entire sheet of beeswax, and now I have a candle. One more application of heat, and I seal the outer edge of the candle. I give the candles 24 hours to fully harden, and then I apply the labels.

I take great care in imbuing the Candle with as much energy as I can, so I make them in purified ritual space and incorporate many energetic correspondences when making them. Purple is the colour of Jupiter, and the essential oils I use have traditional uses in magic involved in legal issues, justice, etc. Their proportions are also important to the success of the spell or ritual. I combine the power of Jupiter and the Sun with these candles, so I make the candles and the anointing oil on the Day of Jupiter (Thursday) and in the hour of the Sun.

Slight variations in colour may occur between batches.

Please note that these candles are anointed with essential oils, and not fragranced with them, so it will not fill up the space with scent.

The candles can be used to create wax seals on letters, scrolls, bottles, charm bags, etc.

The beeswax is propolis free to reduce the possibility of inducing allergic reactions and/or sensitivity to the main aromatic chemical group caffeic acid esters, which is largely responsible for the 'typical' beeswax scent. The candles are relatively scent-free as a result, although a slight balsamic-like scent can remain in different batches.
